Following traditional mapuche weaving techniques, each piece is handmade on a wooden loom using only pure sheep wool. Colors are obtained using elements from nature, as described below:

Pale rose is obtained with onion skin and blackberries.

Brown is obtained with oak tree bark.
Gray is obtained with eucalyptus leaves.

Curcuma is used to obtained yellow.

Green is obtained with peach leaves, grass, yerba mate and walnut leaves.

While maintaining the traditional ways, our weavers create new, innovative textile products that respond to modern days tastes and needs.
